APS Sportec tunes the new Golf R

The al-new Golf R is hot out of the oven, and is literally quite hot when it leaves the factory! Nevertheless tuners from APS Sportec has already boosted its power.
The Golf R is powered by a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine with 270 hp and 354 nm of torque. Sportec just tweaks the car’s ECU and extract 30 more horsepower out of it.
Now with 300bhp (224KW) at 6000rpm and 321lb.ft (440Nm) of torque at 2750 rpm, the Golf R goes form zero to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 265 km/h.
Suitable for both six speed manual and DSG versions of the Golf R, this package is priced at £649 in the UK.
