2012 Braus Rocket

Brabus Rocket as you now is an extreme version of the Mercedes CLS built by the German tuner. Here’s the latest version based on the 2012 model, and it’s a beast.

It is powered by a Brabus 800 V12 Biturbo engine that produces 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW of power and a peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), which in the car is limited to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). The exclusively appointed Brabus Rocket 800, built to order starting at EUR 429,000, reaches a top speed in excess of 370 km/h (230 mph) and accelerates from 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 23.8 seconds.

For the first time the Brabus engine specialists combine this high-end engine with a seven-speed quick-shift gearbox. Gears are shifted by means of shift paddles on the steering wheel or automatically. The Brabus limited-slip differential, available with various final drive ratios, optimizes traction of the rear-wheel-drive car. This is the ultimate CLS!

Brabus Electric Hybrid E-Class

rabus has established a green division that instead of mad performance, is responsible for sensible and green performance!

Their first full-on project is the BRABUS High Performance 4WD Full Electric based on the Mercedes E-Class, shown at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. it features four wheel hub motors from English manufacturer Protean ELECTRIC.

The all-wheel-drive vehicle, which celebrates its world debut at the 2011 IAA, accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph) – and all without emitting as much as a single gram of CO2. A powerful 56-kWh lithium-ion battery pack provides an operating range of up to 350 kilometers (217 miles). There are plans for a small-series production run of this unique automobile.

A low weight of just 31 kilograms (68 pounds), a compact diameter of only 42 centimeters (16.5 inches) and a thickness of merely 11.5 centimeters (4.5 in.) make these motors perfectly suited for this project. They are positioned in the BRABUS Monoblock Q wheels in size 8.5Jx19 front and back.

The good thing is, in Brabus’ vision of a green var there is still plenty of fun and speed. So bring it on!

PIECHA DESIGN Mercedes-Benz SL

Mercedes SL type R230 has a timeless design which is still fresh after like 10 years of being around.

So tuner keep working on it, and here’s one of the latest packages which also turned out to be one of the best. Piecha Design’s kit is trying to be more elegant than sporty and looks absolutely stunning.

PIECHA is the only tuner to develop special build-in housings with LED daytime headlights, incl. fog lamp. They can be delivered ready for installation for the serial bumper and the AMG bumper of the SL63 and SL65. For the serial bumper, a refined, elegant, three-part front spoiler lip was developed as well to harmonise perfectly with the daytime headlights.

PIECHA also offers a harmonious rear spoiler lip that is as elegant as it is effective. It provides an additional push down on the rear axle.

Besides the new body components, you also get the new PIECHA MP1 monoblock wheel rims in the front-polished titanium silky-gloss version are true eye-catchers. They are available at 9.5×20 with 255/30 R20 for the front, and at a gigantic 11×20 with 305/25 R20 for the rear wheel cases of the SL.

The beautiful brand-new PIECHA designer wheel set matches all the CLS models of the 219 and 218 series with the same tyres. The car body also does not require any rework. Proper wheel covering, however, requires that the chassis is lowered.

So there you go , one of the best tuned Mercedes SLs in the world. Too bad the car will soon go out of production.

As you know the production of the McLaren Mercedes SLR has come to an end.

But for the owners of this car who might need some refreshment, Wheelsandmore offer a new kit that stops the car from becoming boring. Not that it will of course, but anyhow!

First off, the output of the car’s V8 engine has been increased from 626 HP (460 kW) and 780 Nm of torque have been increased to 707 HP and 915 Nm of torque thanks to a larger compressor and an ECU upgrade. As a result the car now does 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.

The other upgrades is the addition of 20-inch multi-piece forged wheels with Dunlop Sportmaxx tires size 255/30/20 and 305/25/20.

Those who want even more can also order the interior carbon fiber package which revamps the plasticy dashboard of the SLR.

Brabus Mercedes SLK 2012

The next tuning package comes form the giant Brabus, who’s tweaked the performance a bit, and designed a cool body kit for it.

Starting with the body, you get two BRABUS front spoiler lips that attach on the left and right side of the production apron and daytime running lights, BRABUS diffuser and the BRABUS rear spoiler on the trunk lid.

Then there’s the interior where more individuality can be fulfilled by the BRABUS upholstery shop in the form of exclusive interiors crafted from especially soft and breathable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara.

Brabus also provides one-piece or multi-piece designs wheels with diameters ranging from 17 to 20 inches. This wheels in this photo are BRABUS Monoblock F wheels painted the new exclusive ‘Liquid Titanium’ color. They are mounted in size 8.5Jx20 in front and in size 9.5Jx20 on the rear axle. BRABUS recommends high-performance tires from Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA in sizes 235/30 ZR 20 on the front axle and 275/25 ZR 20 in back.

BRABUS offers efficient and reasonably priced BRABUS ECO PowerXtra CGI tuning for the four-cylinder direct-injection engines. After the installation of the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra B20 CGI performance kit the four-cylinder direct-injection engine of the SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY produces an extra 26 hp (25 bhp) / 19 kW of power and an additional 30 Nm (22 lb-ft) of peak torque.

The new SLK 250 BlueEFFICIENCY can be upgraded at BRABUS in two stages. The BRABUS ECO PowerXtra B25 CGI module bumps power output of the four-cylinder direct-injection engine from standard 204 hp (201 bhp) / 150 kW to 230 hp (226 bhp) / 169 kW at just 5,500 rpm.

 

Mercedes S-Class Carlsson

The old Mercedes tuner Carlsson is famous for their elegant and unique touch on every car they work on.

They are usually big fans of very busy and posh body kits, but this time for the dignified S-Class they went for a discrete kit that only increases the car’s sporting appeal with some delicate modifications to the body.

The body kit consists of a new front bumper, aerodynamic side skirts, a revised rear apron and a trunk-mounted spoiler, all very elegantly designed. It’s complemented by 20-inch Carlsson designer rims wrapped in Dunlop tires.

Those wheels really glow inside the fenders thanks to the suspension lowering module that drop the car by 30mm, giving it a killer look.

It’s not all show and no go though. Based on the S600 this car has received a thorough engine upgrade program and as a result makes 600 PS and 1024 Nm of torque. That means a to speed of 320 km/h.

2012 Mercedes CLS Lorinser

The old Mercedes tuner has finally unveiled its awesome new body kit for the latest Mercedes CLS.

The luxurious four-door coupe benefits might have got a bit fat in its second generation, but Lorinser’s kit manages to cover most of the fat bits like a fancy dress. It now looks more muscular and sporty.

The car looks as if it’s been hunkered down to the ground thanks to the new tall side skirts and the revised bumpers which add to the height and width of the body panels, the car also gets a boot lid wing, a roof spoiler, and new grille.

All of those parts are finished in a lovely mate grey color and complemented by new set of rims available in different design.

No word on performance upgrades or pricing yet.

Brabus Mercedes E and S Class

If you like a little extra garnish on your Mercedes S Class or E Class AMG, Brabus has a new kit that just does that.

It adds new aerodynamic bits and pieces and which make the car more efficient in that aspect and also look very cool. There is a new front spoiler, bigger than previous versions, new side skirts, new designs for rear diffuser and boot lid wings, as well as new tail pipes in oval or rectangular shape.

Exhaust systems, monoblovk wheels and suspension upgrade are offered as before.

BRABUS Aerodynamic-Enhancement Kit for the Mercedes E-Class with AMG Body Styling

The BRABUS designers have modeled a front spoiler lip that attaches to the lower part of the AMG front apron on the sedans and wagons of the latest E-Class. Its sophisticated shape further reduces lift on the front axle for further improved directional stability.

For the sedan there is also a diffuser and rear spoiler that is mounted on the trunk lid. The former features a centrally located reflector, and stylishly blends with the rear bumper. It has cutouts on either side for the tailpipes of the production exhaust or of the BRABUS quad sport exhaust system.

Like the front spoiler the components for the rear are manufactured in OEM quality from Pur-R-Rim plastic ensuring perfect fit and excellent paintability, both in body or in contrasting color. BRABUS also offers these components with a titanium-colored paint finish.

The Mercedes S-Class with AMG styling also gets a more athletic appearance with additional BRABUS body components that are manufactured in OEM quality from Pur-R-Rim as well. The BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement kit can be painted in body color or come with a glossy titanium paint finish.

The BRABUS front spoiler improves the aerodynamic properties of the luxury sedan. As a result, the car delivers an even smoother ride, particularly at high speeds.

The rear spoiler and diffuser, which also features a centrally located reflector, also contribute to even better high-speed handling.

A BRABUS aero update is also available for the E 63 AMG. To further optimize directional stability at high speeds, the BRABUS designers have developed a carbon-fiber front spoiler lip that attaches to the production bumper of the E 63 sedan or wagon. Custom-tailored air ducts from BRABUS lend the side outlets of the AMG apron even more sporty profile.

Also made from super-light composite material are the BRABUS rear spoiler lip and the diffuser insert, which are both reserved for the sedan.

The rear appearance of this model is characterized by the visual trademark of BRABUS, the centrally located reflector. But that’s not all: the diffuser provides the perfect backdrop for the ceramics-coated dual design tailpipes of the BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system. Thrilling looks are not the only strengths of the sport exhaust. An integrated flap system lets the driver choose between a discrete ‘coming home’ mode and the sport setting that provides an even more exciting exhaust note, all at the push of a button in the cockpit.

The S 63 can be refined in a similar manner: an additional front spoiler made from Formula 1 material of choice carbon fiber for the AMG bumper was modeled for it as well. It benefits the car’s appearance and handling characteristics at high speed.

In addition to the spoiler lip for the trunk lid there is also a center diffuser with reflector for this model. Also in the product program: the stainless-steel BRABUS flap control exhaust system. It features cast-aluminum ceramics-coated tailpipes and a variable exhaust note controlled from the steering wheel that spans the gap from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde.

The BRABUS program naturally also offers countless additional options for customizing all AMG models. These include custom-tailored BRABUS Monoblock wheels with diameters of up to 20 inches, depending on the model in question. BRABUS front sport fenders, available for all E- and S-Class models, are yet another visual delicacy.

BRABUS wouldn’t be BRABUS if it didn’t offer engine tuning for the various AMG engines. Highlights in this category are the 6.3-liter V8 fast-revving engine and the new 5.5-liter V8 Biturbo engine.

The interior also offers a wide open playing field for refinement. The BRABUS upholstery shop uses supple leather and Alcantara to adapt the interior to the customer’s personal preferences down to the last detail. Other instruments of cockpit refinement are carbon-fiber and exotic wood trim elements available in any desired color and in a number of different designs.

Romeo Ferraris Mercedes C63

There have been tuned Mercedes C63 before by Italian tuner Romeo Ferraris, but this one is rather special.

Called the Whitestorm, this C63 features a modified V8 engine that churns out not 470 hp, but a full 530 hp. That makes the car act like a bit of a handful, but it also makes it huge fun.

Besides the massive engine, the car also benefits form a cooler presence thanks to the blacked-out items like the grilles, or the wheels, and a fancy interior with with red leather and carbon fiber.

despite the extra power Remeo doesn’t seem to have done anything to improve the brakes and the suspension.

Mercedes SLK 2012 by Carlsson

To be really honest with you we didn’t like the looks of the new Mercedes SLK. They’ve tried to make it look like a min SLS, but it’s turned out something rather weird.

Now though, Carlsson has come up with a package which styling-wise make things much better.

The car looks much more luxurious  thanks to a nicely design kit consisting of front apron, the front spoiler lip RS (also available in carbon), and the radiator grille with the large Carlsson horse. It also gets electro polished stainless steel grille inserts.

Carlsson also offers 18,19 and 20-inch wheels, sport suspension, and C-tronic power upgrade kit for both SLK 200 and SLK 250 engines with 224 and 240 PS.
