Edo competition recently done a very unique Panamera S for a customer. They call this car the Hellboy.
That could be because of its engine and speed. The output of the Panamera’s direct-injected V8 engine was increased from 294 kW/400 hp to 342 kW/465 hp. This enables the Panamera to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of over 305 km/h (190 mph).
That also could be because of the way it looks. The newly developed carbon fiber front skirt with integrated daytime running lights also features enlarged air intakes for improved cooling. The new carbon fiber front lip increases downforce and the elegant side skirts add to the car’s side profile. A new carbon fiber rear skirt along with the diffuser and fins, new side mirrors and fender vents enhance the vehicle’s aerodynamics and looks. An old classic instead of a large wing: a ducktail spoiler, reminiscent of the legendary Carrera RS.
That couldn’t be for the interior though. Hellboy’s visual impact would be lacking without a suitably exquisite interior, which is why edo competition has upgraded the cabin in a number of ways. New steering wheels, center and shifter consoles, pedals, seats or custom upholstery work, the possibilities are endless.
The aerodynamic pieces were designed to be compatible with all Panamera versions, be it the V6, V8 or Turbo.
The latest project of Edo Competition tuning center is an Aston Martin DBS. In fact it’s not a DBS, it’s a DB9. OK, let us explain!
This car has started life as a DB9, but after 5 years its Russian owner got bored with it and asked Edo if they can turn it into the DBS, and well here it is!
The car has the exact same body as the DBS with all the details and 20-inch wheels, but the interior is trimmed to please the customer with leather and alcantara.
Also the engine is more powerful than the standard DBS at 550 hp, which gives it a higher top speed as well. It’s also got better brakes and suspension. Edo has not announced the cost of this conversion, so we don’t know if it’s actually cheaper to by a ready-made Aston DBS!
The new Lamborghini Gallardo has recently paid a visit to Edo Competition garage. It went in as a LP560 and came out as the LP600!
This is because of the extra power Edo has put in the car’s V10 engine. It now develops 600hp and 527 nm of torque, it does 0 to 60 in 35 seconds and has a top speed of 212 mph.
The car has a sport exhaust system whit butterfly valves which enhances the already amazing sound of the Gallardo. It has an electronic remote by which you can choose between discrete or volcanic noise.
The LP600 also features a sport adjustable suspension for the sake of even sportier handling and 19-inch three-piece racing wheels with artificially-aged cast center-sections, covered with Dunlop Sport Maxx tires.
As it’s usually the case, Edo does not change the body significantly, they only adds a front spoiler lip to improve aerodynamics.
