They have modified front and rear bumpers in different designs along with front spoiler at front. these spoilers run for 169 Euro. The front-end is also garnished with new registration-free headlight bezel for only € 25.

The tuner offers 4 side skirt designs off the shelf, so each driver can modify his Seat Leon individually, based on his imagination. They cost 129 Euro.

Every good kit must have rear spoilers and wings! And this one does of course. The rear spoiler with its two large openings and centre brace, and the roof spoiler, they’re available in 2 different designs. The smaller version sells for only € 109 and the larger model is available at a price of only € 149.

Before they get to the looks, they’ve paid a visit to the car’s turbocharged engine and bumps the power up to 330 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque.

Then they got busy with the body and installed a whole body kit with new front and rear spoilers, side skirts, new wheels and four tailpipes at the back, belonging to the new sport exhaust system.

As usual the interior received a full leather treatment.

Where Seat acts restrained on the sporty abilities of the new model, the JE DESIGN Cupra significantly shows its talent. The front spoiler with the enormous inlets (319 Euro including VAT) and the headlight masks (89 Euro) look ahead in a fierce way. With the new side skirts (two-part set for 299 Euro), the Cupra already presents its agility when it is still parked. The rear skirt attachment left and right (299 Euro) and the centre diffuser insert (99 Euro) as well as the mighty rear wing (459 Euro) with the sunk-in JE DESIGN logo leave no doubt: this Seat is serious about it.

But JE DESIGN has not only given the Leon Cupra a sporty shell. The Seat has actually also turned much more powerful. JE DESIGN increases the performance of the TSFI engine from 240 hp (177 kW) to 285 hp (210 kW). The maximum torque rises from 300 to 385 Newton metres. The optimisation of the motor management enables the Cupra to accelerate from zero to 100 kph (62 mph) in only 5.9 seconds. This is half a second faster than the serial version. Also the maximum speed reaches a new best mark: the refined Seat achieves 261 kph (162 mph).

Before this modification, it only reached 247 kph (153 mph). The performance increase for 1,499 Euro is delivered with a one-year warranty for the motor, engine and drive. If desired, this warranty can be extended to two years. The matching sound is rendered by a four-pipe system of the end silencer (899 Euro). The double stainless steel pipes roar on both rear ends.

As untameable and sporty the Cupra from JE DESIGN is, the interior is equipped with luxury and comfort for the driver. JE DESIGN offers the leather equipment Elegance for 1,599 Euro. The colour combination between leather- and seam can be freely chosen without any surcharge. If desired, the refiner embroiders and individual logo (79 Euro) on the front backrests. For highest travel comfort, there is also the two-level seat heating (379 Euro), the electrically adjustable lordosis-support for back-protecting travelling (319 Euro) and the massage system that works very silently with twelve programmes (429 Euro).

Founded in 1950 with the help of another popular automobile manufacturer, Fiat, Seat emerged onto the scene headquartered in Matorell, and that would be in Spain. Their products mostly consist of Touring cars and currently they employ around fifteen thousand people and are now a child company of the great and mighty Volkswagen. SEAT not only manufactures their own vehicles but since they have been owned by Volkswagen some of the latest and more exciting designs like the Audi, and in addition to that their recent SEAT Leon has been seen as superior in aesthetics and design to other VW vehicles.

In the beginning the company first was manufacturing rebadged vehicles that were pretty much identical to the originals under Fiat; later on through they began to do their own product development. Their first car with the SEAT factory and designers behind it at 100% was called the Ronda, and it was manufactured initially in 1982. It was a redesign of the Ritmo by Fiat, but it was not a rebadged car – and this sparked Fiat to sue SEAT over it. They claimed it was too similar; however the CEO went to the press with images of the Ronda with all different parts colored in to show how different the Ronda was.

Fiat then withdrew from SEAT and Volkswagen entered the stage, signing agreements with SEAT and becoming a major shareholder – then full shareholder. Currently there are several concept models on the way along with a large line of current models. Two of the much anticipated concept cars are the SEAT Formula car and the SEAT Tribu car. The Tribu is a crossover vehicle planned to go into production in 2009 and released, it is a stylish vehicle that brings the sporting look to the SUV market – and so far has been praised by most people at the shows that it appears at.
