The luxurious four-door coupe benefits might have got a bit fat in its second generation, but Lorinser’s kit manages to cover most of the fat bits like a fancy dress. It now looks more muscular and sporty.

The car looks as if it’s been hunkered down to the ground thanks to the new tall side skirts and the revised bumpers which add to the height and width of the body panels, the car also gets a boot lid wing, a roof spoiler, and new grille.

All of those parts are finished in a lovely mate grey color and complemented by new set of rims available in different design.

No word on performance upgrades or pricing yet.

The uber-luxurious sedan is now sportier and more fun thanks to its revised bumpers, side skirts, side vents, rear diffuser, roof spoiler and the boot lid wing. It’s a classic Lorinser job.

The car also has a sport exhaust system which comes with four chrome tailpipes sticking out of the car’s diffuser. The tuner provides a set of 21-inch RS8 light alloy wheels for the S-class with 265/30 front and 295/30 rear tires.

Here’s their latest creation, the RS9, which will be used in the upcoming tuned Merc by the company.

As for the design, the RS9 has the same traditional star shape which is like Lorinser’s signature by which you can identify the car! This aluminum wheel is carefully engineered for maximum efficiency, and it’s German engineering don’t forget!

The RS9 is available in 8×18; 9×18, 8,5×19; 9,5×19; 9,0×20; 10×20; 10,5×20; 9,0×21; 10,0×21 and 10,5×21 inches with prices starting form 530 euros.

At front, changes are subtle, a sport grille and a spoiler would do the job here.

But at the back, where the ML has always suffered from a van-like design, things are much cooler!

Lorinser must have forgot the point of a SUV car which is good ground clearance, becasue they tried their best to make it closer to the ground! the combination of the body kit (specially the side skirts) and low profile tiers on those massive sporty wheels decrease the ride height significantly.

As usual Lorinser light alloy wheels are available in the traditional designs and different sizes.

The modified rear apron has a diffuser and four tailpipes connected to the car’s sport exhaust system. This exhausts can be had with both petrol or diesel engines and improve the ML/s acoustics to some extent!

The front apron of the car is redesigned and gets a bigger air intake although the 230 hp V6 engine of the car has not been changes. The new front lip is painted in black which is in a nice contrast with the bright color of the car, you will find this black decoration also on the fenders and the rear bumper.

Lorinser has also lowered the car an installed their special RS9 22 inch wheels which are painted in matte black. The new side skirts are also exclusive Lorinser touch. Likewise the rear diffuser with integrated quad exhausts is not a common thing to see on a car of this type! The whole package make the GLK look funky.

Sportservice Lorinser consciously chose the fiery opal colour for the paintwork of its latest GLK with the 280 V6 petrol engine. With its pervasive radiance the eponymous gem is one of the most coveted and exclusive opals in the world – and it is the only one with which you can uncover the full shine with a facet cut.

As a result the traditional tuner from Winnenden has worked on all the corners and edges, in order to create an exclusive piece of work with incomparable brilliance out of the SUV. As a special optical highlight, the Lorinser front spoiler reflects the radiator grille of the GLK on the horizontal axis and thereby provides an expressive front design. The dark recessed insert is flanked on the left and right by the fog lights. While precious stones loose volume through polishing, the GLK actually gains substance due to the work of Lorinser. The ribbed side sills in particular provide the 170kW / 231 HP strong SUV with more volume, and thanks to the Lorinser lowering set it hugs the tarmac in a bold sporty manner. The rear view of the four-wheeler is presented as a perfect piece of jewellery and appears to be made of incomparable fire.

The Lorinser rear apron with the pronounced indentations definitely flirts with a degree of martiality – an impression which the dark insert with the sports grille and implied underride guard further intensify. On its flanks it sports a pair of sonorous double-pipes of the Lorinser stainless steel exhaust unit. In connection with the smooth six-cylinder engine under the bonnet the compact SUV thereby also proves to be an acoustic jewel.

Real high-carats are, of course, not missing in the wheel arches: with their special varnish – matt black combined with a polished rim flange – the huge 9 x 22 inch Lorinser RS 9 light-alloy wheels provide real highlights. They are enclosed by the 265 milimetre wide Yokohama tyres. The contrast with the red outer colour of the vehicle is increased by the dark recessed wheel arches. With it the designers have succeeded in creating a real piece of jewelery, which constantly attracts attention to its owner.
