In fact it’s better than that. Sure the matte black paint and black wheels are a bit too much, but it’s more discrete than the AMG version. And yes, it’s based on the CLS500, but don’t think it’s a wuss because Kicherer has tuned the engine up to 470 hp. So it’s very nearly just as powerful.

The aggressive styling is complemented by interior elements and door sills in piano lacquer.

By means of a software update and a sports exhaust system the performance of the V8 biturbo engine was increased by around 62 Ps and 90 Newton metres. To help the 470 horsepower get straight to work an original KICHERER PowerConverter (with an E certificate of conformity) was mounted in the vehicle. The accelerator pedal thus reacts almost immediately to the driver’s commands. Both ear and eye can delight in many ways in a beautiful exhaust system at the rear of the vehicle.

On the one hand even the ex-works end pipes are convincing with a modern, almost rectangular design and on the other hand the KICHERER sports exhaust system behind it produces a sportily exciting but still discrete V8 sound.

The choice of wheels for this car is the hand-made KICHERER RS-1 20 inch forged wheels – behind which one can easily imagine the power of the 6 and 4 piston high performance braking system.

It comes with a magnificent matte black foil all over the car, a new spoiler lip at front an a newly designed diffuser at the back. It also sports three-piece RS1 20-inch wheels also in black.

Kicherer calls their SLS the Supersport, because it’s much more powerful than the standard version. You see the stock SLS has only got 571 hp, but Kicherer’s car churns out 620! Part of this power is due to the new exhaust system, which they say sounds even more interesting than the original set.

Based on the new E-Classe with the AMG-package Kicherer has upgraded the limousine with its own three-part forged 20 inch aluminium rims. These are in addition to a suspension with recognizable sports lines. The new sports exhaust system with two powerful end pipes to the right and left makes its mark on the scene both optically and acoustically.

A new front spoiler made of carbon, a mirror cover also made of carbon as well as a rear skirt and small rear spoiler (naturally also made of carbonfibre) ensure a clear presence.

Kicherer has upgraded the interior of the Mercedes E-Classe with a sports steering wheel, numerous visual carbon applications as well as leather coverings for the doors and dashboard.

Performance improvements are available for nearly all petrol and diesel engines. In addition the dynamics of the E-Class can be improved without improving its performance. To do this Kicherer has developed additional electronics which they have called the PowerConverter. This ensures that the driver‘s commands to the accelerator are transmitted to the engine without delay. The vehicle thus reacts with more ‚bite‘ even without any increased performance.

As to be expected Kicherer doesn’t solely focus on tuning but rather on discrete changes which not only look good but also possess aerodynamic functions. Thus the chassis was refined in every sense of the word as one wasn’t not stingy with the sinfully expensive carbon fibre here, in fact just the opposite was the case.

The tuners from Stockach gave the C63 AMG a carbon grill at the front as well as a front skirt with integrated carbon flaps and LED daylight driving lights. From the side the expanded rear wings of handmade metal, the carbon mirror covers as well as the new sideskirt with integrated carbon tubes are easily recognised. The rear was given a diffuser also made of carbon.

A few more PS than in the standard version can now be found working under the bonnet of the Kicherer C63 Supersport then thanks to improved engine electronics the C63 AMG powerhouse can provide around 550 PS and a maximum torque of 630 Nm. The removal of the senseless Vmax-block was in this instance a matter of honour. The engine itself received a cover with carbon fibre inlays.

So that the performance could be perfectly brought to the asphalt surface the technicians installed a high performance limited slip differential with adjustable hardness and a variable barrier effect as well as a high performance adjustable coil over. Under the wheel arches revolve 20 inch large RS-1 forged wheels with 245 tyres at the front and 275 tyres at the rear. And with over 550 PS you naturally need appropriate deceleration and for this reason Kicherer resorted to a Brembo braking system including flexible steel cables.

For the interior of the C63 AMG the Mercedes specialist offers an ergonomic sports steering wheel in leather and carbon along with a footmat set with real leather trim.
