<p>The CR-Z Mugen RR is everything the standard CR-Z should have been, with a powerful engine, fancy body kit and amazing performance. But it will remain a concept car, and even if they make it someday, it won&#8217;t be just as sporty.</p>

<p>The CR-Z MUGEN RR has been created with many bespoke prototype parts,  several of which are created in carbon fibre, including the bonnet,  passenger doors and rear tailgate. Other features unique to the car  include a full length carbon-fibre underbody, a twin central-exit  exhaust, vented front bumpers and race-developed suspension.  Orange  4-piston monobloc brake calipers and forged 18-inch alloy wheels both  complement the vibrant Valencia Orange Pearl exterior paint work.</p>
<p>Inside the car, the seats are clad in MUGEN-branded colour-coded  leather/Alcantara. The addition of a race-developed information screen  has the ability to record chassis and engine data as well as housing a  Satellite navigation and audio system. This high tech kit will monitor  the car over two laps to &#8220;learn&#8221; a circuit and then record lap data and vehicle tracking using GPS.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a shame the car ain&#8217;t for real!</p>

<p>Mugen, as Honda&#8217;s sport division, has tried to give the CR-Z a sportier look. So their kit has bigger air intakes, extended skirts and a huge wing on the roof. They also drop the car by 20mm and put 17-inch wheels under it.</p>
<p>But all of these good things fail to cover the CR-Z&#8217;s biggest flaw which is indeed the lack of power. I mean who can live with just 122 hp?!</p>

<p>Prelude	 is simply the most legendary coupe from Honda. Though it would be an exaggerating statement but it is true. A great history that kicked off in 1978, Prelude went on to get better and better on road. With 5 great versions of this model, its production was finally halted in 2001. It created vibes in 1988 when the 2.0l was launched for the first time. A massive 142 bhp was something to praise for at that time.</p>
<p>Though the bonnet was long and sleek but it tapered at the end so that the driver had a good road view. Subsequent models of the &#8217;90s had their own pros and cons.</p>
<p>One of the most inspiring tuning of the 92-96 Honda Prelude was seen recently. A metallic Navy blue was modified with flawless fittings.</p>
<p>A lowered adjustable suspension setup using Koni Sport dampers matched to Eibach Pro progressive Spring Kit was the biggest attraction. New alloys of 17&#8243; OZ Superleggera fitted with Toyo T1-R tyres have boosted its road grip.</p>

<p>With such a great model, you need to take care of the exhaust system. It should match the dark cat body and it would be better if it is made of pure stainless steel. A 60-70 mm decat pipe would help the cause.</p>
<p>Thinking of the intake it is advisable to use Prelude Type-S airbox and a K&amp;N air filter. It obviously needs Shell V Power 99 Octane fuel with NGK iridium plugs.</p>
<p>Finally the H22A2 boost would be the best configuration that you would add up your Prelude.</p>
<p>A new motor with raised rev limiter upto 8500 rpm and an altered time map for compatibility purpose are added assets.</p>

<p>With such a heavy configuration, you need to keep the water temperature gauges working really well.</p>

<p>A H23 block with a H22 parts and an intake manifold pulled off for better brake lines are some of the astounding and unique features of this tuned up beast.</p>
<p>Prelude&#8217;s suspension could become a concern with heavy tuned up configuration. Hence for a piece of advice, always go for an original Honda suspension or you could lose the charm of every single configuration done till now.</p>
<p>In a nutshell, Prelude is rare as a Panda; yet when it unfolds its elegance after years; it is worth a Nostalgia for many more years to come.</p>

<p>Honda S2000 is one of the most recent launches from Honda and there is some happy History attached to it. In April 1999, Honda celebrated its 50<sup>th</sup> century and the engineers from Honda wanted to come up with something really special, and hence the S2000 came into life.</p>
<p>A powerful 2 seater with engine options of 2.0l and 2.2l, this nasty beast can produce an amazing 9000 rpm with the backup of 240 bhp engine power. It is already a celebrated master piece and hence tuning up a perfectionist is a complicated task.</p>
<p>The handling, balance, suspension, instant torque and liquid brakes are simply superb. Any little experiment can go in the wrong direction and the whole tuning project can fail miserably.</p>

<p>Honda S2000 lacks in low end power and this could serve the purpose for our motivation to start up the tuning process. We have to introduce a good Sports exhaust accompanied by an induction kit to modify the VTEC momentum.</p>
<p>Since the head is way beyond perfect, the only little change that one can do is to upgrade the valve springs and retainers that wither down with an astonishing rate. Ferrera&#8217;s springs can work wonderfully well for S2000 since they are very much compatible.</p>
<p>To get a better flow, you can try a 3 angled valve head. Though 4 to 5 angles are superior but due to space constraints we stick to 3 head valve. Ignore cams help to keep the low down power in control. If you are still hungry for more Power in your S2000, then a forced induction will surely help.</p>
<p>An already designed 11:1 compression ratio provides a really weak boost and an addition of Supercharger would not help much. Hence a manual modification of the engine to bring this ratio to 9.5:1 would actually solve the purpose and you&#8217;ll find the power upto 350 bhp.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a better acceleration, then a lower ratio gearbox will boost up the acceleration. You can also increase the size of 300 MM ventilated brake discs and get a final upgrade to an 18 inch wheel set. This would really give a wicked beast look to your vehicle.</p>
<p>This will grab the attention of every single chic on the road.</p>
<p>Finally, to add some punch to the Cosmetic looks, we suggest that you paint your little beast in red and get a black removable hardtop matched with powder coated black rims.</p>
<p>A front end full bra for 2004 S2K simply fits in the groove of S2000 as well. It seems it was made for this car only.</p>

<p>CR-X lovers across the globe express their love for their machine by tuning it in thousand different ways. They have re defined the concept of tuning their cars. What if the engine is left untouched or the appearance still looks jaded? Every single tuned CR-X on the road has an aura of elegance around it.</p>

<p>Moving on to the much luxurious side, a B16A swap or 1.6 sohc VTEC swap is more than enough for a heavy bhp output. A 130 HP is quite manly to prove some mettle on the road. A nitrous X-pack would prove a bit costly but nonetheless a starter version should kick off the much needed performance.</p>
<p>Power windows and power mirrors add style to your beautiful CR-X.</p>
<p>Going a little back in time; let us look at some marvellous works done with CR-X. The 1991 CR-X JDM is a modern man&#8217;s obsession in perfect sense. Leon&#8217;s Mugen themed &#8217;91 JDM CRX is renowned for speed and energy. Spoon Sports&#8217; bolts, a JDM front end and black Zenon side skirts can turn this big boy into a real beast on the road. Simply cut the JDM fenders, add some cool flares to the trimmed arches and replace the bulky mirrors with carbon-fibre vision type DC mirrors for the final finishing touches and you&#8217;ll feel the difference. Spoon callipers are added assets for your machine.</p>
<p>You can make the final looks even more aggressive by introducing lightweight flat back wheels in the form of 16 inch Spoon SW338s shod in Falken Azenis rubber. Adding a few more upgrades to make it a complete seduction pack is the main motive of every owner. Adjustable Camber kit, complete Energy Suspension bushing kit and spoon callipers mated to 11.1 &#8221; rotors are some major performance boosters.</p>

Small upgrades of catalytic converters and induction parts would be enough to prepare your beast for Pro-Street stuff.</p>
<p>The last option goes with some future planning. Simply gather parts like exhaust systems, necessary induction upgrades and a high-flow catalytic converter. You should make space for your turbo kit that would be added in future but the present upgrades are good enough for a good show-down.</p>

<p>Accord is one of the most luxurious brands ever made by <a href="http://www.cartuningcentral.com/tag/honda">HONDA</a>. Not many would dare to experiment with an already declared master piece, but some who love tuning, it is always a game.</p>
<p>Let us take you to a journey where we&#8217;ll explore every single performance and appearance tuning tip.</p>
<p>The first and major performance part is the Engine. One has to be sure of its compatibility with other parts if you&#8217;re thinking of a swap. H22A is the most recommended engine mounts for Accord. It will require cutting tweaking and general arrangement or purchase of Hasports part for a successful swap. One has to make sure that exhaust, intake, fuel system and cooling work in perfect cohesion for better engine performance. A wonderfully crafted 4-3-1 header with an exhaust system from 90-93 Accord will work simply well. For normal driving purpose the intake is just fine for Accord but an H22A needs more breathing space. You can use a MAP from a &#8217;90-93 Civic DX Mount and use it as a firewall in place for the Prelude Mystery box. Accord-like throttle body and cables will work fine with anything.</p>

<p>Please avoid any eBay crap if you love your vehicle. Be sure of the size of the injector if you&#8217;re changing it as well.</p>
<p>Moving on to transmissions, it is advisable to stick to the contemporary H22A gearbox. If you&#8217;re going for an average tuning, any clutch kit will be good enough. Depending on your handling of clutch and feel for the pedal, any clutch kit with Stage 2 or Stage 3 will be compatible. A Stage 1 disc will handle much more Torque and will engage OEM.</p>
<p>Flywheels are yet another important tuning components. Ultra-light flywheels are recommended for racing purpose, while Light flywheels are good enough for Pro-Street Drag and other races.</p>
<p>Nitrous boosts, Turbos and super-chargers are always an added luxury but always keep your handling level in mind. These equipments do add great wings but pose a much larger threat at the same time. Choose a light turbo for amateur stuff. A Turbo MR2 which is V8 powered is more than enough for heavy racing.</p>
<p>For stylish exterior and interior modifications, you need not think much. Black/clear housing headlights and Racing Seat versions are enough to cover both. Accord is so elegant in itself that interior modifications are hardly needed.</p>
<p>Accord is Honda&#8217;s most pampered and good performing baby. You have to be careful while tuning it up since it is already so damn technically strong.</p>
