Golf VI GTD by ABT
November 19th, 2009 by arman
ABT, as one of the VW tuners, has picked a new Golf GTD for their latest project. And the car is immediately recognizable thanks to the tuner’s typical footprints all over it!
The Golf VI GTD has become much more aggressive with ABT’s body kit including the front spoiler, front grille, side sills, rear spoiler, rear apron with diffuser and 4-pipe rear mufflers

The car is also fitted with ABT suspension springs, which lowers it by 30mm enhancing both looks and cornering capabilities.
Also ABT AR and BR wheels available in 18 or 19-inch and accompanied by high-performance tires play a major role in the GTD’s magnificent pose!

ABT then got busy with the car’s diesel engine which has 140 innocent horsepower in its standard form. With ABT modifications, the engine’s economical factors remain the same as the original but power gets a nice bump to 190 hp and 390 nm of torque!
Therefore ABT Golf VI GTD does 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h.
