Get Ready for the 2009 Nissan 370Z
November 11th, 2008 by Justin
For those that love the classic 300Z and the recent version of its incarnation, the 350Z, a new Nissan sports car is about to be released- the 2009 Nissan 370Z. Nissan has done it again and has created an incredible, bossy looking sports car that fits nicely in the mid level range of budget, but is high on performance. While car tuning enthusiasts are extremely excited, it should be noted that this car is not revolutionary in the fact that it is completely new from ground up, but for the most part, it is an update of the 350Z- which many of us are still proud of.
For those car tuning enthusiasts that are concerned with horsepower, you will be pleased to know that the 370Z definitely comes with a decent power plant that produces 332 hp. This number is a nice jump from the old model 350Z by about 24 hp. It should also be noted that the 370Z also beats the Mazda RX-8 on horses with 104 more and the Porsche Cayman S with 41 more horses. And just for bragging rights, the 370Z also beats the Porsche 911 Carrera as well with 12 more horses.
The 2009 Nissan 370Z shares the same 3.7 liter VQ engine that is in the V36 Nissan Skyline 370GT- so Nissan is in good faith trying to create a very proficient sports car. The 370Z also now comes with a standard automatic that offers seven ratios and paddle shifting. It should also be noted that the body on the 2009 Nissan 370Z is more rigid than the 350Z and is noticeably lighter. If you always loved the Z cars, you will continue to love the next incarnation- the 2009 Nissan 370Z
