9ff Speed9 wants to be the new Porsche Speedster!
November 21st, 2009 by arman
Reminiscing about the good old days, Porsche tuner 9ff has come up with a superb package for the 997 Turbo Cabrio, paying homage to the 356 Speedster from 1950.
And what a package they’ve come up with! The looks of the 997 is revamped with a modern-classic theme and it’s got lots and lots of power.

The kit that 9ff puts on the car looks awesome but it’s not just for show, that front bumper contains a splitter to cut through the sir, and there is also a diffuser at the back, along with new air ducts for the engine and brakes.
The engine of this beast is also a masterpiece. The Porsche turbocharged flat-six is upgraded with new ECU software, sport exhaust system, and performance air filters, so it delivers 650 hp and an enormous 890 nm of torque.

9ff has not yet released any performance data, but it takes no genius to say it does 0 to 100 under 4 seconds and has a top speed of way above 300 km/h.
The interior of the car is also customized with suede, leather an aluminum to create a swell racing spirit! The Speed9 by 9ff will be on display at 2009 ESSEN motor show.
