2008 Ferrari F430

Has Ferrari ever created a bad car, probably not.  For 2008, the Ferrari F430 continues to impress big time on practically all areas including styling, performance, interior and power.  The F430 takes the baton where the Mondena leaves off and after a few years, this car has made a name for itself by offering truly exhilarating performance, classic Ferrari styling, lots of power and a decent price tag (only decent to multi millionaires).  If you are looking for an all around great vehicle that gives you a thrill when you drive it, the F430 is definitely the cream of the crop.

Under the Hood of the Ferrari F430
Under the hood, you will find plenty of power and technology.  The F430 sports a powerful 4.3L V8 engine with 490 horsepower and over 340 lb ft torque.  What this power translates into is an acceleration of 0 to 60 in about 4 seconds, 0 to 100 in about 10 seconds and a ¼ mile in 12.4 seconds- not to shabby. Also, top speed is quite high at 196 mph.  Matched with this powerful engine is either a classic 6 speed manual transmission or an optional automated-clutch manual with paddle shifters located on the steering wheel.  This transmission is known as the F1.  Another interesting feature is an adjustable suspension via a dial on the dash.  This feature is called the “manettino”, and while this feature might sound like a gimmick, it does offer additional preferences when driving.

Inside the Ferrari F430 you will find a wonderful cabin made from the best leathers and a dashboard that is classic Ferrari including the push button ignition.  The cost of this vehicle starts at about $180K and moves upward depending on additional features/options.  The F430 makes its mark as high quality, super performing, exotic sports car.
